Armand Joulin

Distinguished Scientist at Google DeepMind

Joulin created fastText, which made text classification and word vectors fast enough for broad practical use. He later helped develop DINO self-supervised vision and Meta's Llama models; at Google DeepMind he leads work on Gemma, its family of openly available language models.
