Head of Science of Scaling at Reflection AI
Ghorbani studies how neural networks learn and why their training succeeds or stalls. His research showed limits of simplified mathematical descriptions of neural networks and developed tools to examine training at large scale. He later worked on OpenAI’s reasoning team, helping develop AI that tackles multi-step problems.
