Matei Zaharia

Zaharia created Apache Spark, the open-source engine that made large-scale data processing faster and easier to program. He later co-founded Databricks and helped build MLflow and Delta Lake, while his Berkeley group develops systems such as DSPy that make AI programs easier to optimize and operate.
