Gogineni works on post-training and reinforcement learning at OpenAI. He was credited with model creativity for GPT-4 and contributed to GPT-4o and GPT-5. Previously, as Atomic AI's first outside hire and a founding scientist, he worked on machine-learning systems for RNA structure prediction after building large-scale recommender systems at Meta.
