Alex (Oleksandr) Polozov announced in a personal blog post on November 6, 2025 that he would join Reflection AI the following week as a Member of Technical Staff. He was leaving Google DeepMind, where he worked on Gemini and Jules, Google’s AI coding assistant.
Polozov described his interest in AI models that developers can adapt and build on. His earlier work includes Microsoft’s PROSE toolkit, which creates programs from examples.
