Arena is now tracked in Turing Tree. The company grew from UC Berkeley’s Chatbot Arena research project into a public platform for comparing frontier language, vision, coding, search, video, and agentic systems through real-world human feedback.
Co-founders Wei-Lin Chiang, Anastasios Angelopoulos, and Ion Stoica are linked to the organization. Angelopoulos serves as CEO; Chiang and Stoica helped develop the systems and research behind the original platform.
