Arun Rao has joined NVIDIA to work on product for Nemotron, the company's open source/weights LLM family. The move follows five years at Meta, where he worked across ads ranking, Llama evaluations, and agents. Rao framed the next decade of AI as being about capability, efficiency, openness, and real-world deployment, saying he will focus on building open, efficient LLMs for developers, labs, startups, enterprises, and governments.
