Axios reported that Chris Fall resigned as Director of the Center for AI Standards and Innovation, with the Commerce Department confirming his departure.
Fall took over CAISI in April after the former U.S. AI Safety Institute was reorganized. NIST Director Arvind Raman is serving as acting director while Commerce searches for a permanent replacement.
