Scale AI announced that Francis deSouza will become its Chief Executive Officer on August 10, 2026. Interim CEO Jason Droege will work with him during the transition.
deSouza joins from Google Cloud, where he served as COO and President of Security Products. He previously led genomics company Illumina as president and CEO, ran products and services at Symantec, and founded two enterprise-software companies that were acquired by Microsoft and Symantec.
