Julia Kempe announced that she is joining AMI Labs in Paris as Director of Research, working with Yann LeCun and AMI Labs' founding team on world models: systems that learn richer representations of the real world, reason, plan, and learn from interaction.
Kempe is a Silver Professor at NYU Courant and the Center for Data Science, previously held a director role at Meta FAIR Paris, and has a research background spanning machine learning, quantum computing, theory, and AI.
