Naman Goyal, a machine-learning research engineer on the Google DeepMind Gemini team, is now tracked in Turing Tree. This is a separate profile from the Naman Goyal who worked at Meta FAIR and is now at Thinking Machines Lab.
Goyal works on making Gemini more useful at reasoning, planning, following instructions, and combining information across text and images. He helped build Gemini Deep Research, which plans multi-step research and brings together information from multiple sources.
