Nathan Lambert and Tom Zick announced on X the launch of Trillium Labs, a nonprofit they co-founded. The lab plans to publish open post-training recipes and build infrastructure for research on recursive self-improvement, reward hacking, and multi-agent systems.
Lambert left Ai2 in June and has since been founding a new lab. Zick is its president. The founders say they want outside researchers to be able to inspect the work and help solve difficult technical problems.
