Ruiqi Gao announced on X that she has left Google Brain/DeepMind after seven years and is joining Anthropic to help build Claude.
Gao was most recently a Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, after earlier work at Google Brain. Her research focuses on generative models, representation learning and multimodal systems for language, images, video and 3D data.
