Sachin Katti announced on X that he plans to leave OpenAI in a few weeks to build something new. He said he will continue as an advisor after November 15.
Reflecting on his year at OpenAI, Katti pointed to work securing computing capacity with partners and getting GPT-Infra underway in three months.
He has not named the new venture or described what it will build.
