Wojciech Zaremba, an OpenAI co-founder, is joining the OpenAI Foundation as Head of AI Resilience, OpenAI said in its March 24 update on the Foundation. He will lead the Foundation’s work preparing for challenges created by increasingly capable AI.
The Foundation said its initial AI Resilience work would focus on child safety, biosecurity, and AI model safety, including independent testing and research to detect and address safety issues early.
