Corey Lynch, Figure's Director of AI, is now tracked in Turing Tree. He leads work on Helix, Figure's system for turning camera input and language instructions into actions for its humanoid robots.
Before joining Figure, Lynch spent seven years researching robotics at Google. His work includes PaLM-E, which connected language and vision to embodied systems, and Interactive Language, which enabled people to give robots instructions in real time. He has also developed ways for robots to learn flexible skills from human demonstrations and unstructured play data.
