Rohan Anil confirmed that he left Anthropic a few weeks earlier to co-found Core Automation (@CoreAutoAI). He said Jerry Tworek "nerdsniped" him into starting it with him and others.
Anil praised Anthropic on the way out, describing it as "one of the best places to work for a researcher" and calling its pretraining team "one of the well functioning research teams in the industry." He added that he misses "the fun times and Claude."
